I just ordered a (TC25D $13,320.00), (S/Steer 780.00),(R4Tires 280.00), (72" 914A Rear discharge mower 2,680.00), and (7308 Loader 3,000.00).This for a Total of $20,060.00. I got him to throw in heavy duty 60"bucket.Boy I hope it is worth all that dough. Cant hardly wait untill next Friday for them to deliver. Even with all the help on prices I still had a hard time getting them to budge much. Any words of wisdome on the Price and the choice of equipment. I had a tough time decideing which and what to purchas. The board postings really helped. I was inches away from buying a orange B2410 for about $3,500.00 less for the same basic hardware.Know nothing about the mower I purchased. Other than a 914A 72" rear discharge. Any one own one with some input on what I should expect? Problems? Care and Maintenance? How about HP with the TC25D? The R4'rs at the dealer tore the sod when locked in4WD, But was OK when left in 2wheel with auto/4. Is this normal and what to expect with mine. Boy they sure are PRETTY. But VERY EXPENSIVE.Hope I get my moneys worth.

Congrats on the new machine!

Love that supersteer, not many people get it and I don't understand why. Thought it was one of the best reasons to get a NH Boomer. Love it on my TC40D. You are right about 4WD lock will cause the wheels to tear grass but when used on auto (great transmission) you will get the traction you need, when you need it, thus saving the grass.

If you like your NH as much as I like mine you'll be looking for any excuse to get out and play.

Look forward to seeing your new owner comments.

Hey Quigley that's great! Just one more day of waiting. I'm sure you'll love your Boomer. I can't leave mine alone - I'm always finding something new to use it with. I'm to the point that I don't know how I ever lived without it. The R4's are great! I love them. Like Dave said, you have traction when you need it & when it's in 2 WD they don't hurt the lawn ( unless you go from forward to reverse to fast, ha!). And with it in 4WD & those R4's there's no stoping it. It's amazing how much power these Boomers have.
As for the 914A Mid-mount mower, I bought one with my 29D with the plan to use my Boomer mostly for mowing. But when I got it and quickly saw how powerful the Boomer is, and how useful the loader is; mowing is the least I used the Boomer. At this point I realized that the mower was in the way and it was a pain to take off & on so I returned it for a 3pt hitch mount Land Pride & a fork lift. Now, to my way of thinking I have the best of both worlds; Great mower for mowing and a super tractor for loader work and everything else. Don't get me wrong- the Mid-mount mower is a super piece of equipment, at all times you know where you are mowing & it cuts great. It's just that mowing takes only about 20% of the time useing my Boomer & 80% is other things (I don't even use my wheelbarrow anymore). Good luck! I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.
By the way - you didn't buy your Boomer in Chattanooga did you?

Donald The tractor and equipment were ordered in Rochester IN.. Why? Does it seam like I got a good price? Or should I have pleaded with him some more. Discussing what CTB buyers have gotten them for did not impress him any. Tomarrow is the big day. Can't hardly wait. Grass is in need of mowing also.
Thanks for the info.

No, it's just that you paid just about the same as I did. Closer than anyone else on the board. Hope you can sleep tonight. Enjoy! Donald
